  • A paper by Vishwanath Venkatesan, Mohamad Chaarawi, Quincey Koziol, and Edgar Gabriel on an Optimization Framework for Staging I/O nodes was accepted for publication at the Workshop on High Performance Data Intensive Computing (HPDIC), which is held in conjunction with IPDPS 2014 in Phoenix, AR, in May 2014.

  • The Parallel Software Technologies Laboratory is proud to announce the release of ADCL version 2.0. Among the new features supported by this release are new high-level API functions, support for non-blocking collective operations, and support for a Timer Object. ADCL can be downloaded from here.

Welcome to the Parallel Software Technologies Laboratory. This lab has been founded in January 2007 to provide a framework for ongoing research in the area of parallel computing, message passing systems and parallel tools and to promote new parallel software paradigms and technologies.

Located in the Philip G. Hoffman Hall this lab is part of the Computer Science Department at the University of Houston.
