  • A paper by Vishwanath Venkatesan, Edgar Gabriel and Shishir Shah entitled "'Towards High Performance Cell Segmentation in Multispectral Fine Needle Aspiration Cytology of Thyroid Lesions" has been accepted for publication in the journal "Computer Methods and Programs in Biomedicine". The paper is expected to be published early 2010.

Welcome to the Parallel Software Technologies Laboratory. This lab has been founded in January 2007 to provide a framework for ongoing research in the area of parallel computing, message passing systems and parallel tools and to promote new parallel software paradigms and technologies.

Located in the Philip G. Hoffman Hall this lab is part of the Computer Science Department at the University of Houston.
